As we continue to expand our French-speaking market, we are looking for passionate French-speaking tour guides who are eager to share their knowledge of Vietnam and create unforgettable travel experiences.
Job description
As a Tour Guide, you will represent Villages Vietnam and accompany our travelers throughout their journey.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Welcome and accompany travelers throughout their trip.
- Introduce Vietnam’s history, culture, traditions, religions, and heritage.
- Showcase local craftsmanship, traditional villages, and the communities visited during the journey.
- Bring each destination to life through engaging storytelling and insightful commentary.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the itinerary and the comfort of our guests.
- Handle unexpected situations professionally and efficiently.
- Work closely with the Operations team to deliver exceptional service quality.
- Continuously expand your knowledge of destinations, local cultures, and new travel experiences offered by Villages Vietnam.
Compensation and benefits
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
- Valid International Tour Guide License issued in Vietnam.
- Strong knowledge of Vietnam’s history, culture, and heritage.
- Excellent interpersonal and hospitality skills.
- Confidence in speaking and presenting to groups.
- Customer-oriented, proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively to unexpected situations.
- Previous experience guiding international travelers is highly preferred.
- Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays, and according to tour schedules.
