Family Alexandre & Lisa (4 pax) – Semi-Independent Journey
Semi-independent journey from the North to Central Vietnam, ending in Phu Quoc
with flexible planning and tailor-made support
Our family trip to Vietnam followed a semi-independent travel style — partly organized by the agency and partly on our own. This balance was ideal for us: the freedom of certain stages combined with the comfort and peace of mind that comes with a perfectly prepared itinerary.
From Hanoi to Central Vietnam and finally to Phu Quoc, everything ran smoothly. The hotels booked by Villages Vietnam were all beautiful and of high quality. Pick-up times were always clearly communicated the day before, drivers were punctual, and driving was safe and professional.
What made our stay even more enjoyable was the constant support from the Villages Vietnam team, always available even from a distance. They regularly sent us suggestions for activities, local dishes to try, and reliable places to visit. This discreet yet attentive presence truly made all the difference.
A big thank you for this perfectly balanced journey between organization and freedom, which delighted our entire family.

Frequently Asked Questions
In general, the best time to visit Vietnam is from November to April. But you can travel all year round. The weather changes a lot from region to region, so when it rains or gets cold in one place, it can be sunny somewhere else.
Internet access is easy and affordable. Most hotels, cafés, and restaurants offer free Wi-Fi. If you want to stay connected all the time on your phone, you can buy a local SIM card. It gives you a stable connection during your trip for a very good price.
