As September approaches, the mountains of Northern Vietnam are bathed in golden light: this is the only rice harvest of the year, taking place between September and October. The terraced fields ripple like waves of gold, while smoke rises gently from traditional stilt houses and the air is filled with the scent of newly harvested rice. This itinerary offers a deeply human journey through Vietnam, combining spectacular landscapes, preserved villages, homestay experiences, and meaningful encounters with local ethnic communities.

This trip is a guaranteed departure circuit with fixed dates, specially designed to coincide with the ethnic weekly markets of Northern Vietnam (buffalo market in Bac Ha on Saturdays and the main ethnic market in Bac Ha on Sundays).
The itinerary order and program dates have been carefully arranged to allow travelers to experience these authentic local events at the right time.
To fully enjoy the experience, it is therefore recommended to follow the scheduled departure dates.

First Steps into the Land of the Black Thai
Departure from Hanoi towards the Muong Lo Valley (Nghia Lo), considered the ancestral homeland of the Black Thai ethnic group.
Upon arrival, check-in at a local homestay followed by a walking tour through the villages, discovering traditional stilt houses and observing daily rural life.
Introduction to the beliefs and cultural practices of the Black Thai people, deeply connected to nature and protective spirits.
At the end of the day, enjoy a natural hot spring bath in a peaceful setting, ideal for relaxation and rejuvenation of body and mind.
In the evening, a traditional dinner shared with the host family, offering a warm cultural exchange.
